Six Fusion tutorial callouts for DaVinci Resolve. Tip, warning, step, key point, result and skip-to. Resolve 18 and 19. No plugin
Go Pro To DownloadFreeVisuals Pro callout pack for tutorial, how-to and educational YouTube in DaVinci Resolve. Six Fusion titles: tip, warning, step, key point, result and skip-to. Dark plates. Thin red accent. Open Sans. No plugin.
This is not the interview lower thirds pack and not the vertical Stories pack. Those name people or stop a scroll. This ZIP is for teaching points, steps and takeaways on screen while you talk. You download it from files.freevisuals.net after a Pro Single Pass, Monthly or Yearly plan.
Six .setting titles. Copy them into the Resolve Titles folder. Restart. Drag from Effects Library > Titles. Edit the words in the Inspector. Use Tip for a soft teaching point. Use Warning for what not to do. Use Step for numbered steps. Use Key Point for the main takeaway. Use Result after a before and after. Use Skip To for a timestamp tease.
Six titles. Same family. Built so a tutorial series can mark tips, steps and results without rebuilding Fusion graphs every upload.
Each file is a Fusion Edit title. Change the words in the Edit page Inspector. Open Fusion only if you need to rebuild the layout.
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Templates/Edit/Titles/
Windows: %APPDATA%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Templates\Edit\Titles\
If the names do not appear, the files are in the wrong folder or Resolve was still open. Titles live under Fusion/Templates/Edit/Titles, not under Macros or Transitions.
How Fusion title templates work in Resolve: Fusion Title Templates Masterclass - Create Your Own Reusable BRANDED Assets in DaVinci Resolve. Keep the readme open while you copy the files. Put these in Titles, not Transitions.
Park it when you give a soft tip that is not a full step. Keep the body under six words. Hold three to five seconds, then cut it. A tip that stays on for a full minute becomes wallpaper.
Use on the mistake beat. WATCH OUT or AVOID THIS. Body is the short rule. Do not stack Warning and Tip on the same frame. One callout at a time.
Numbered how-to. Change only the number between steps. 01, 02, 03. Label can stay STEP. Place it where it does not cover the UI you are demonstrating on screen.
One takeaway bar. Export H.264 for YouTube first. Hold a few seconds after you say the line, then remove it. Do not leave Key Point on for the whole tutorial.
After a before and after or a fix. RESULT on the label. Body is the outcome. Cleaner skin. Faster export. Sits on the right so it does not fight a left tip plate if you cut between them.
Top of frame. SKIP TO and a timestamp. Use when the video is long and you want a chapter tease on screen. Match the time to a real chapter marker in the description.
Interview lower thirds name people. Stories titles stop a scroll. Tutorial callouts mark process. Viewers of how-to content look for steps, warnings and results. A generic lower third does not do that job as clearly.
Channels that use one callout style across a course look more consistent than channels that invent a new box every episode. Install once. Reuse the same six cards.
Fusion Edit Titles. Resolve 18 and 19. Free Resolve is enough. No OFX. No paid Fusion plugin.
Timeline size follows the project. On 9:16, check position so Tip and Step clear platform UI and captions. Default font is Open Sans. If it is missing, pick any clean sans in Font.
It is not a full course template. It is not a subscribe pack. It is not the film chapter kit. If you need MotionVFX tutorial packs or a large Envato education set, use the premium list on DaVinci Resolve templates. Those open on Envato, Artlist, Motion Array, Motion Elements or MotionVFX. Partner licence, not this ZIP.
Need interview nameplates: use Pro Interview Lower Thirds. Need vertical Shorts hooks: use Pro Vertical Stories Titles. Need chapter cards: use Pro Film Chapter Kit. Need soft wipes: use Pro Film Wipe Kit. Do not stack four packs in the same five seconds.
Grade the tutorial before you judge the callout. A dark plate on uncorrected log looks muddy. Convert log first, then drop the title. Pro LUT packs on Premium LUTs help when a course needs one consistent grade.
Music under a how-to cut: Artlist or Epidemic Sound. Keep beds low under speech. A whoosh on every callout makes the lesson feel like a trailer.
Bigger Resolve template sets after this pack: Envato, Motion Array or MotionVFX. Those are affiliate. A Pro pass does not unlock them.
Do not drag these .setting files into Premiere or CapCut. They are Fusion titles.
The free and premium rows on DaVinci Resolve templates include partner callouts and free starter titles. This pack is owned. One ZIP. Same six cards every lesson so the series does not change box style every upload.
Pro Monthly and Yearly unlock this pack plus other Pro rows. Single Pass unlocks this ZIP only. Affiliate packs on the same page do not unlock with Pro.
Install the six files once. Do not recopy them from the ZIP every upload. In the first project, put Step on track 3 and Tip on track 4. Duplicate that project for the next lesson. Change only the words and step numbers.
Batch one long tutorial. Mark tips, warnings, steps, one key point and one result. Apply the same Tip style across the full cut. Channels that mix eight callout styles in one course look unfinished.
If you also use the Film Chapter Kit, keep chapter cards for act breaks and these callouts for teaching points. Different jobs. Different tracks.
Most callouts should leave the frame after a few seconds. Viewers need the tip once. Leaving Key Point on for twenty minutes turns a title into a permanent banner and pulls the eye off the demo.
On 16:9, Tip and Warning sit lower left by design. On 9:16, move them up so they clear captions and platform chrome. Test a Short export if you cut vertical versions of the same lesson.
Match the plate to the grade. A cold tutorial grade under a red step badge still works because the accent is small. A busy UI under Skip To can fight the plate. In that case shorten the hold or move the plate.
Spell product names and menu paths correctly before you render. A callout is where typos get screenshot and shared in comments.
The same files work on a vertical timeline. Faces and UI sit high on Shorts, so callouts need more headroom than on 16:9. Tip and Step may need a vertical nudge. Skip To can stay near the top if it clears the username area on the platform you publish to.
Long-form can hold a key point longer on first introduction. A Short usually cannot. Two to three seconds on 9:16 is enough for a tip, then clear the frame for captions.
FreeVisuals Pro. Personal and commercial use, including monetised YouTube, client work and paid courses. No attribution. Do not resell the .setting files. Do not upload them to another stock site. Terms: Terms of Service.
Single Pass unlocks this pack. Monthly or Yearly unlocks every Pro template on the Resolve hub and other Pro rows across the site.
Yes. Fusion titles do not need Studio.
No.
Yes. Switch the timeline to 1080x1920 and check position. Tip and Step may need a nudge so they clear Shorts UI and captions.
Wrong folder or Resolve was not restarted. Confirm the path in the readme. Titles go in Fusion/Templates/Edit/Titles.
The accent is baked into the Fusion graph. Open the title in Fusion if you need a different colour. The Inspector on the Edit page changes the words and type size.
No. Fusion .setting only.

No. That pack is 9:16 hook, caption, label and CTA for Shorts. This pack is process callouts for how-to content.
No. Partner files use the partner licence.
Pick Tip, Step and Key Point and keep them for the series. Change only the words and numbers. A channel that swaps callout packs every lesson looks unfinished.
Download once. Store the ZIP on your drive. When FreeVisuals revises the pack, replace the six files and keep any custom Fusion versions in a side folder.
Search terms this page should earn: DaVinci Resolve tutorial titles, Resolve callout templates, Fusion tip card, how-to lower third Resolve, educational YouTube titles Resolve. That is why the H1 stays on tutorial callouts and Resolve.
